Spud's Customs figure gallery

Post by spudtrooper15 »

So after many months of saying I would do this I finally have. I took some of the pictures of my clan and labeled the names of the characters I have created so everyone can keep track of who's who. I will also eventually have this thread to where it has a post dedicated to each character with closer detailed shots of all that I have done to create the respective character. Until then I hope you'll all enjoy these group shots.

The Clan (minus one; I took this before I did another figure)

Okay - if this was facebook you'd get a big, fat "Like" now, and if it was the old NB I'd pour out all my mod-karma over you :fantasy: :fantasy: :fantasy: :fantasy: :fantasy:

Uh huh! Plus I'd be too scared to use it, afraid to destroy anything...

Still, it DOES look awesome, that guy put loads of love and time into that thing.

Ok, so about a month ago Ato and I bought a Toyota Prius Hybrid, and we thought what better thing to hang from the rear-view mirror in our earth friendly car than an atokirina seed. I had a miniature pewter Jake Dagger hanging from the mirror in our old car, but I forgot to take it out before sending the old car to the wrecking yard. :ouch:

Ato had made 2 models of an atokirina seed a few years ago, but they were life sized, which made them a little big to hang in a human's automobile, so she made a third atokirina model at approximately half scale.

Here's pictures of the two different models, side by side. The old one on the left and the new smaller one on the right.

And here it is hanging in the car...

Looking cute :)

I wonder how many people recognize it for what it is... the next cop beckoning you out for a control might just be an Avatard wanting to have a closer look :hee:

Oh wow -- I love those hanging atokirina! Very beautiful...and I love the detail on them.
I'd love to have one to hang in my car. :fantasy: :)
Do they light up in the dark too? :)

Oh snap! We didn't even think of using glow in the dark paint on them! That would be really cool driving around at night with a glowing Atokirina hanging from the mirror.

Well, I guess it would be kind of difficult to paint the fine ostrich feathers with glow in the dark paint. But we could paint the wire, just not the feathers. Hmm....

You could spray them with something sensitive to ultra violet light, then use a small LED or neon tube that works in that wavelength range (UV).

Long, thin 'legs' that end in hairy, fuzzy 'feet' .... and there's even a Spiderweb table cloth (and now the pics are gone again anyway).
