Of course not everything everytime is 'fit for daily life' but there are way enough pieces that could be put to regular use.

Now - the 'design' price tags aside: How come we are already quite a way into the 2000s an no one is wearing the futuristic clothing that was promised for so long? Fashion - especially the stuff people are actually wearing - is simply boring. Jeans and parka all the way. There might be some new materials or slightly fancied-up cuts, but all in all we look like it's still the 90s somehow. I am annoyed by this. It really should be more fun.
