How are you people preparing for the premiere of Avatar 3?
Being in Nigeria at the moment, I will try the local cinemas. I am not too optimistic over any form of 3D...

I'll be able to see it in 3D, and maybe with some effort there's a "real" IMAX I might get to (and which I randomly worked a day at when they changed their screen).

Howdy! Hope everyone is well. Been while since I popped in. The fall is our busy season, and this year was the busiest yet. We're finally taking a breather now that we're in our slow season.
Got tickets for Avatar: Fire and Ash for a 3D Ultra-AVX advance screening on Thursday on Dec.18 at 2:30pm for Atokirina and I, and taking Ato & my kids for IMAX Laser 3D HFR on Friday, Dec.19 at 6pm.
Atokirina wanted to see it first in "regular" 3D with just the 2 of us so we can absorb everything before seeing it in IMAX with my kids.

Great! I will likely go with my wife... we watched the first Avatar together...

I never book things far enough ahead, so I won't be seeing it opening weekend, but I will be seeing it soon at the proper IMAX.
